Code of Conduct

1. Purpose​

This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for behavior within our community, organization, or event. We are committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and harassment-free environment for everyone, regardless of background or identity.

2. Expected Behavior​

All participants are expected to:

  • Treat others with respect, kindness, and empathy.
  • Be considerate of differing opinions and experiences.
  • Engage in constructive and positive discussions.
  • Respect personal boundaries and consent.
  • Refrain from discriminatory, offensive, or harmful behavior.

3. Unacceptable Behavior​

The following behaviors are considered unacceptable and will not be tolerated:

  • Harassment, bullying, or intimidation (verbal, physical, or digital).
  • Discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, age, or other identities.
  • Inappropriate or offensive comments, jokes, or imagery.
  • Unwelcome sexual attention or advances.
  • Threats, violence, or incitement of harm.
  • Disruptive or disrespectful conduct.
  • Abuse or attacks on services, including excessive automated requests, denial-of-service attempts, or any form of system exploitation.
  • Commercial use of this service unless operating a self-hosted instance with proper authorization.
  • Distribution of malware or malicious software via the API or any related platform.

4. Reporting & Enforcement​

  • If you experience or witness violations of this Code of Conduct, report them to the designated contact (e.g., moderators, HR, event organizers).
  • Reports will be handled confidentially and investigated promptly.
  • Violations may result in warnings, removal from the community, or legal action if necessary.

5. Consequences​

Depending on the severity, consequences may include:

  • A private warning.
  • Temporary suspension.
  • Permanent ban from the community or event.
  • Legal action in cases of illegal behavior (e.g., malware distribution, service abuse).

6. Scope​

This Code of Conduct applies to all community spaces, events (online and offline), and professional interactions related to our organization, including API usage and service interactions.

7. Commitment to Improvement​

We welcome feedback to improve this policy and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all.
